Fight Night Round 2 - not loading on 360

Maybe someone can give me a hand here.

I stick my FN round 2 disc in my X360 and the spash screen comes up with the loader bar at the bottom (after 360 get the required update) but the loader bar stops and hangs about an 8th of the way across. That's it.

I stick my HALO disc in the same X360 and it comes up just fine. So, I think the disc is bad. I stick Round 2 into my OLD XBOX and it boots up just fine. <sigh>

So I call 1800 4myXBOX and they say to remove the update and download it again. Of course, it's an update so no where in the unit can I delete it. I go to system and see a download for FNR2 and delete that (no idea what it was) and reboot. Stick the disc in again and same darned thing happens again.

Ah jeez. The only game I own on my regular XBOX and it won't play on the new unit.

Any ideas anyone...? Thanks for speaking up if you do!

You should check if its backwords compatible

I have the same problem, it wont load. But i have´nt been asked for an update. I was under the impression that all the old xbox games would go fine to play on the 360 with an update, was i wrong?

Yes, theres a list of games that are backwards compatible. A lot of games are on it, but a lot arent as well. You probably can use the search function to find it. Its been posted many times.

I heard that you can download patches for games that arent backwards compatible to make them playable.
