COD 2 Question

Does the game allow you to play as the Germans and/or Russians? Is the multiplayer good/fun?

I've always thought a great game idea would be to allow a player to play as the germans in a defensive role, moving from battle to battle to defend against allied attacks and make it dynamic so your next battle depends on your previous performance and changes the course of history so to speak. If done right, it would be awesome.

You can play the different alliances in multiplayer but I don't believe in single player. I agree tho, would be nice to play german with all the advanced hardware they had.

In the multiplayer does it stage battles or do you just run around and shoot each other?

in single player you play as the Americans, British, and The Russians. Not the Germans

on live you have: deathmatch
team deathmatch
capture the flag
search and destroy
headquarters

I think the multiplayer is very fun.

However some disappointments in COD 2 Live are:

1) With more than 6 people in a room you get heavy lag.
2) You dont get to "choose" the rooms to go play. If you choose "Team Deathmatch" you go randomly to a waiting room.
3) When the game ends, it kicks you back to the main area to be randomly put back into another round instead of just staying with the current group of guys you are with and continuing another round.

Wow tnhat is a disappointment. I'm surprised they don't let you choose the group! maybe they'll change that.

Dont get it wrong golf everything is really good on this game, the multiplayer and single player the only thing bad is you can't just choice your team in single player you have to beat more to get more. And the american campain is last lol.
