I was pretty interested in BD initially but having tested the combat system int he Demo I shall pass thank you...I absolutely hated it

Well, I've started playing it the other day and I'm now 6 hours in.

It is a little childish in some parts of the story line.

I'm really enjoying it at the moment anyway. It reminds me of FFVII alot.

Atleast it'll tide me over until GHIII comes out =P

i really wish it didn't bother me because i love games like that...not so much the JRPG but just the turn based and stuff....freak why wont they make a good grown up turn based RPG

firstly viva pinata i brought it played it like 3 times over x mas havent touched it scince i got the special edition packing cos it looked nice even my missus doesnt play it

secondly you cant call blue dragon childish thats the way tis drawn its anime and i dont give a shit what pepole say i fucking love this game!!

Well we certainly can't call the game childish without playing it but it certainly looks childish. And saying it can't be called childish because of it's anime style is way out of line; watch Hellsing or something and call that anime childish looking.

Secondly even if that kind of game is your thing and you love it to death, it can't be argued that Blue Dragon is a mediocre turn-based RPG.

I like the xbox game New Legends alot but that doesn't mean its not a sub-par game.
