although we were sort of promised this great looking game at launch, gamespot.com as written that it has been delayed until the sometime in 2006. a tad disappointing, but hey.

I knew that this would happen. How could such a great looking game be ready for launch? They really need to work on it a bit longer for it to be gold.

i suppose the best things come to those who wait, eh? it seems that i am going to be tied down to pgr3 and most wanted at launch as all the fps look lame. unless i have missed some out?? perfect dark seems lame.

You don't know how good or bad a game is until you play it though. Trust me, a game as anticipated as Perfect Dark won't turn out to be crap. From what everyone who has seen it being played has said, it sounds like it has to be at least above average.

OK. its just that it seems unlike other FPSs in a bad way. there is just something about it that doesnt look good. and the womans face is super cheesy!

I do agree that everything about her is cheesy/phony but we'll have to deal with it since Halo 3 isn't gonna' be out for a while. We'll have to get used to it, okay? =)

OK then. what about quake4? that hasnt had much posted about it. that should be a beast and may just be out for launch.

If they slow that game down a bit so that you can't circle around the entire map in less than 20 seconds then I might think about it. I'm really not into those games where every player always looks like he has some hyper problem.

yeah i agree, quake has always been to fast for my kind of enjoyment within gaming. i can see why some people like it though... just not for me
