Oblivion...

Noooooo. According to PlanetXbox360, Oblivion will be pushed back to december 5.

The Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Bathedasoft's new role playing game and sequel to the best selling Morrowind, has been pushed back from its original release date. The game was supposed to be ready for launch.

V2 have now pushed the game back to a release date of 5th December. There has been no word on the cause of the delay, but as often is the case for games, the company probably needs more time to optimize the game.

Dude, that seriously sucks. Now I really have no reason to buy a 360 at launch. I'll proably now just ask my parents to get it for me for Christmas.

The game being pushed back might have cut the 360's first day sales greatly now. I know that I'm not the only person who was going to buy the 360 on launch because of Oblivion.

That is gonna piss off a few people, I know alot of guys on this forum were looking forward to that game at launch.

If you really think about that though, the 5th of December is only a few weeks after release. It would really be bad if they delayed it for a few months like Gears of War. This doesn't affect me that much. Its just gives me more time to play the official launch games.

considering the 360 comes out on the 2nd of dec over here in the UK, then im sure us brits can wait 3 days

where as its a few weeks for you guys in the US

True, but we have been waiting for months for the launch and this game. I preordered mine with the xbox months ago. Now I have no game to play for launch. I can only afford 1 game.

Well, it's not like you have no other excellent launch games to check out! Don't feel so down. I guarentee that you will love any of the launch games just as much as Oblivion.
