I haven't heard anything about this game but I love the old-school idea that they're trying to get at. I've only seen some screens and advertisments for the Xbox and PS2 versions. If it's as good as Goldeneye for N64 then I'll be happy, but I doubt that. Here's the cool throwback box art. Pretty nice.

It won't touch Goldeneye. Not by a million miles. For a start, it's EA, and let's face it, they're total shit.

I've given up with the bond series now. Agent Under Fire and Nightfire were ok..but the others are awful. If this gets good reviews then I'll get it but I doubt it will. It's EA just milking the franchise to get as much money as possible over the holiday season.

Well, I know that it's impossible to recreate Goldeneye, but I really love the older theme that they decided to do. EA doesn't really get the whole idea of 007 because from all the action games that I've played by them they don't seem to be very memorable ones.

The problem with EA is that they want to appeal to everyone. They're the biggest name in gaming today, they own all the licenses and are nearly always top of the charts. They don't care about making a good game, they just want one that is passable and accessible to everyone.

It's like on ever EA game I've ever played they've held your hand the whole way through. It even shows on games such as Burnout. Don't get me wrong - the new Burnout is amazing, but now that EA have their claws into it you can see the difference. The menus etc have been toned down and it looks much more welcoming to encourage more people to buy it. That's not too bad sure, but with Burnout 5 they'll no doubt change some aspect of the racing etc until it gets stale and they just churn out a new game every year which is basically the same.

Gah. I hate EA.

tru tru. i hope yall like madden cause thats the only NFL game you will be able to buy. EA has and exclusive license from the NFL so no one but EA can make an NFL game. BS!!!

EA is trying to get a monopoly on the gaming industry , they already id it with NFL the year ESPN kicked their butts in Madden. I hope they don't f up the Bond idea.

i will definately be checking this game out but i dougt i would buy it since there are so many othe promising games but who knows
