Ok, after playing more I found that:
L4D2 has 5 campaigns: 3 with 5 levels, and 2 with 4 levels. That makes a total of 23 "stages".
So it is three "stages" longer than L4D... but if you include Crash Course, then L4D has 22 "stages".

does look and sound very good, however i think this can wait until christmas. Ive got CoD for my shooter so AC2 will do for now

Anyone tried expert yet? I managed to get to the 3rd chapter on Dead Center, and we just got overwhelmed. Constant incoming hordes, and SI. Sometimes we had 2 hunters and a jockey at the same time, lol. SI and hordes carry on spawning even when the tank does. This shit is crazy hard!

I like playing realism mode with a couple of friends on normal, god only knows wot thts like on expert. it makes it real tense because it doesn't tell you when a special infected has grabbed a team mate wont show the highlighted bits, no highlights around any of the players whatsoever either and it can get real tense sometimes but i love it  and scavenger mode is sooo addictive

I can't see how you can do parts of the levels on expert like the one bit on carnival when you open those gates and have to rush to the safehouse with about a million hordes coming at you. 
Someone will find an exploit I'm sure. But Valve are fooking quick to patch things.

was debating on this one for a bit, i think im going to pick it up around christmas though.
looks really fun and by then im sure ill need a break from MW2.
