I think more is starting to make it sound like a bigger game, when i first saw it, i just didnt see a lot of difference. I think they just need to keep working at it and im sure by the time release comes, it'll look great.

There really doesn't seem to be much difference to L4D2....If you think there is, then good for you, you're obviously more easily pleased than the likes of me.

I Get pissed off when game companies release sequels, that only have a few extra bits & then expect people to pay the £30-£40 asking price.

If MW2 isn't that much different, then i wont be getting that either. That's the reason i didn't buy Cod5. I felt it was Cod4 with WW2 guns.

Anyone know if I'll need to play L4D1 before playing L4D2 to understand the story (if there is one)? Or am I asking too early?

Yeah i agree with you here. Playing as the witch would be amazing. Also different types of ammunation would be a good factor the the game as it wont be as easy and also will require much more team work. For example someone with a shotgun needs ammo but also someone with a AK needs ammo. You would need to go to 2 different places. Which makes the team stick together more. If they dont the team will fail dramaticly

just like the first one if you split up

The L4D1 story is useless in relation to L4D2 because it's 4 different characters set in different parts of the world. (The only one we know of is The Parish - Louisiana)

The only reason I can think of playing L4D1 before L4D2 is the experience. People who have played L4D1 already know the tips/tricks for the original SI, so that might be the only advantage. Other than that, we're all pretty much on the same boat.

I'm too lazy to go back a page and find the post about playing as the witch, but that would be completely useless. The witch can't run around scratching whoever she wants...She can only attack once a survivor has done something to startle her, and even then she only goes after 1 person.

So even if you could play as her, you'd have to wait til someone startles you, then you'd go off trying to chase them.

Also, what happens if you get crowned? Or if the survivors avoid you? You'd just look like a retard sitting in 1 spot for minutes on end waiting for someone to hit you.
