Just played the demo and it is uber cool. The jockeys are some annoying lil bastards though.

I'll leave my full comments until I play the full game, but I enjoyed the demo.
It was a lot of fun, but just very much of the same thing if I'm honest.

Played the demo last night... the intro got me pumped!

The gameplay was exactly the same as expected. New characters are cool... the country boy gets on my nerves w/ his accent. Frying pan and guitar are pretty useless. Wish I could test out the chainsaw on the demo. The machete is a fun weapon to use for sure . I played w/ a lot of lag last night so I didn't get the full experience. Also being unable to play VS in demo mode made me lose interest after one play.

I feel a little let down by the new characters so far. The Jackyl is just annoying and makes you feel like you're playing drunk. The charger is a cool upgrade, but he just holds you down and dies quickly. The spitter will probably be fun to play as, but she didn't seem very effective as it's fairly easy to escape her acid. You can kill the swat zombie by shooting him in the ass when he turns around... took me a while to figure that out, as he seemed like he wouldn't die.

For some reason I tend to miss having more of the smoker and boomer... but I'm sure they'll be everywhere again in VS mode so that's all I care about. I didn't see the wandering witch once in campaign play.

Overall, I think this will be a solid game. It is highly dependent on the VS mode for replay value obviously so I'll reserve final judgement for the 17th.

I think its cause you judged the game on an early demo, and decided its a no, so to make up for it, you'll buy Assassins creed 2, which at themoment, no ones played, dont know a lot about. So your kinda comparing L4D2 early demo to Assassins creed 1 which was shit.

But thats aint me judging mate so easy now on the reply.

Im well looking forward to this game. Especially with all the new modes, characters and melee weapons. Some of the daytime levels will be interesting. And we all know the cult following means a LOT of people playing online.
Left the demo on download today, so when i get home i can finally rip it out

Then turn my PC on and play a bit of L4D to warm me up a little. OHHHHHH YEAH BABY.

I'm sick of hearing "This should have been DLC therefore it's shit". If it was DLC it would still be more content than L4D1 and therefore be worth full game money.
