i'm buying it today.....people that i generally have the same taste in video games in, told me it's one of the best JRPGs in along time

This is my first JRPG, I was hesitant about buying it because of the turn based combat, but I actually like it. It also seems like a movie, a very good one that you want to finish because it gets better and better the deeper and get into it.

its like FFX or 7 but without the waiting to act thing. basically u decide what everyones gonna do then u act it out. but u have the ring system, where u can add extra damage by locking a big ring into a little ring....not really the deepest combat system, but its fun...if u like turn-based rpgs.

I haven't played any FF games ^^ i know it ain't like mass effect, but is it like heroes of might and magic or like knights of the old republic? I hate heroes of mm combat system but love kotor one  |
