im an ff fanatic and i say i love this game, doesnt live up to ff games, but beat enchanted arms (i like that to)
few problems with it though not as in depth (story wise it is very) but weapons wise not nearly as in depth as ff 7 or 10
spell wise not to many
black white and sprit, 8 levels 4 spells in each level of magic,
then there is composite magic which mixes 2 spells (set you dont choose what to mix)
but most of the spells are upgades of another,
flare flara flarus
heal heala healus
you know like thunder thunara thundaga
also not many elements in this game
fire, water, earth, wind, light , shadow
items are not as good and annoying, like there is no items that affect all your party members or all the enemies, so no healing all your guys at once, there are spells that do this to.
skill system is fairly in depth though.
armour is ok, though not actually armour its accesories, that teach or give your guys skills.
id say you could complete story 40-50 hours.
but if your a level up guy, or achievment seeker or just a guy who like to do side quests id say 60-90 depending on how experienced you are, 60 for experts 90 for begginers, im on 64 hours just about to begin final part of game do ill be around 67 hours completion.
one good thin about this game is there is immortals and mortals, and the way you play with each is different.
you choose the skills and spells for immortals, but mortals are set,
also immortals come back to life in battle after 2-3 turns. mortals dont they need to be revived
but i think its great even for an FF fan, not quite FF but a bloody good try, only the very little things bug me
9.1/10
