What Made This Game So Hot?

Okay so it's made by the guys who made a bunch of Final Fantasy's. It's made by Mistwalker - a new company from the guys that left Squeenix.

Is that the one reason why?

No, because its a very good RPG. In fact one of the few that is like the FF games. Which can be no bad thing. (if you like that kind of game, that is.)

As Disel said, it's a great game.
It really has a FF feel to it, which I think give a sense of comfort to it.

Also, it has a extremely in depth story that keeps your attention the whole time.

The whole time!!!! So your' telling me running round collecting sticks is fun!! The game has IT'S MOMENTS, the rest is your' standard RPG formula, though in parts the graphics suffer terribly....... you'll see.

That is not a flame, just..... welll.... I was dissapointed that in a game I would have to run around collecting sticks, and then repeat for flowers!!

That's why you have your opinion, and I have mine.

I really enjoy this game, the running around "collecting sticks" , doesn't bother those who like this type of game.

I don't remember reading any post about anyone saying its perfect, but it's one of the best out there.

I will agree that it could have been done better on a couple things.

I'm 4 hours in and loving it so far, all the problems I've read in reviews or ridicules. The loading has been fine and the frame rate is better then most rpgs...Doesn't every RPG suffer from frame rate issues {even the 16 bit ones}? What I have encountered so far isn't even mentionable.

Oh and I wish dream sequences were in every thing, they are really good so far {I mention it because that has been a complaint for some}

Yea, the dreams are well written, my only complaint about that, is it would have been better if they made a cut scene out of them.

All games get hot, not just this one.
Its because they spin at high speed in the drive. This generates heat.
Nothing to worry about.
