Roster updates?
Just wondering how you are supposed to update your roster to what they currently are in real life? i looked all around the menus in the game and didn't see anywhere where i could download a roster update. Is this something that they are gonna do on ther own? Like when you stick the game in it will say an update is available. I would like to have everything how it is currently. Like Brett Favre on the Jets instead of being totally absent from the game when he is on the cover.

you have to go online to do it. once you're online in madden it will ask you to update the rosters.

ya just sign into EA's server and it'll take care of it for you.

^^ I did that when I first put the game in and it never did anything. Does it prompt you to d/l a roster update? i was searching all around on the online part and all the menus. i figured it would just pop up?

you have to go into a match with someone and it will update it then you can leave

so you have to play someone and it'll automatically update? But once it updates will it stay updated?

Good question. Once you log online and download the roster, can you use those rosters for a Franchise?

No offense, but haven't you guys had Madden before?
To update the rosters you need to just click to play a game on live. Before you can play a game, it makes you download a roster update (so that both teams have the same players on the right teams, so there's no advantage one way or another). Once it downloads, just exit the page (this is before you agree to start the game so it doesn't negatively effect your gamer rep)

They're nubs, yes, you can fricking play with the players that been updated on the roster and yes it comes to you when you put in the game and it asks you to install the update, sheesh, have you seen Farve play with the Packers lately?
