Madden '09 Achievement Guide

Note: Most of these Achievements can be earned by setting the difficulty to Rookie and editing the rosters of each team (In your favor). Unlimited rewinds help too.
1. 2 TD Kickoff Returns in a game -
Return 2 Kickoffs for a TD in a game (non co-op) -
75 points
Use the Bears and Devin Hester. They have the best Special Teams Unit and Hester is well, Hester. Set rewinds to unlimited. Running backwards and across the field sometimes helps. Keep rewinding till you get it.
2. Shut out Rival in a Franchise -
Shut out Rival in a Franchise game (non co-op) -
50 points
Play a Franchise game and make sure the 2 teams are rivals. Should be a symbol on the selection screen. Play 1 minute quarters, unlimited rewinds, no offside penalties.
3. Kick a FG for over 50 yards -
Kick a FG for over 50 yards in a Franchise game (non co-op) -
15 points
Edit or create a player with 99 kicking/power. Must kick on 4th down behind the 35yd line.
4. Complete a game without an INT -
Complete a game without an interception, 5 min+ quarter length (non co-op) -
30 points
Easy, either pass smartly, or dont pass at all. Having a good QB helps too.
5. 6 Rush TDs with the Dolphins -
6 Rush TDs in a game with the Dolphins (non co-op) -
50 points
Rookie and roster edits help. Play against a crappy defence. You can pass until you get down to the goal line, then just rush in for the TD. It doesnt have to be by the same player.
6. Catch 10 passes in a game -
Catch 10 passes in a game with one receiver (non co-op) -
50 points
Easy, keep passing it to the same WR. The HB screen is a good play to use cause its rarely intercepted.
7. Complete game without fumbling -
Complete a game without fumbling, 5 min+ quarter length (non co-op) -
25 points
When running cover the ball so you dont loose it, avoid Jukes. Use rewinds if you fumble it.
8. 2 TD Punt Returns in a game -

9. Intercept 6 passes in a game -

This one is a pain, you may have to up the quarter mins high if needed. Also setting the opposing QB's accuracy to 0 helps too.
10. Hold a Rival to under 300 yards -
Hold a Rival to under 300 yards total offense in a game (non co-op) -
50 points
Play on Rookie, Offside penalty to 0, and sack away.
11. Score 60 points in a Rival game -
Score 60 points in a Rival game (non co-op) -
30 points
Play on Rookie, Offside penalty to 0, and sack away.
12. Score 40 points in a Rival game -
Score 40 points in a Rival game (non co-op) -
20 points
Play on Rookie, Offside penalty to 0, and sack away.
13. Record 12 sacks in a game -
Record 12 sacks in a game (non co-op) -
50 points
Play on Rookie, Offside penalty to 0, and sack away.
14. 6 sacks with 1 player in a game -
6 sacks with 1 player in a game (non co-op) -
50 points
Play on Rookie, Offside penalty to 0, and sack away.
15. 80% completion for a game -
80% pass completion in a Franchise game, 5 min+ quarter length (non co-op) -
50 points
I dont know what the minimum throws is, I had about 10 or 12. Complete 80% of those and just run the rest of the game, or use rewinds if you drop passes.
16. 7 Pass TDs with the Falcons -
Throw 7 pass TDs in a game with the Falcons (non co-op) -
50 points
For these next 3 just edit the teams offensive rosters to where everyone is 99 overall, set the difficulty to rookie, the offsides penalty to 0, and the rewinds to unlimited. They do not have to the caught by the same player.
17. 550 Pass Yds with the Titans -
550 Pass Yds in a game with the Titans (non co-op) -
50 points

20. Midway Monster -
Create a legendary player from the past. -
50 points
Go to the create-a-player section and create a player with the first name BONES and the last name JACKSON. You do not have to edit the players abilities. Back out, Save the player and the achievement will unlock.
21. Can You Believe These Seats?! -
Celebrate a touchdown in a wall hotspot -
30 points
After a TD, run to the blue square next to the wall and press "Y"
22. Steal Their Thunder -
Steal an opposing player's touchdown celebration -
30 points
Be the Away team, After a TD, run to a blue square and press "B"
23. Slam Dunk All-Star -
Dunk the ball over the goalpost (or at least attempt to) after a touchdown -
30 points
After a TD, run to the blue square next to the goal post and press "Y"
24. Shine In The Spotlight -
Celebrate a touchdown in an endzone hotspot -
30 points
After a TD, run to a blue square and press "Y"
25. Secret Achievement - -
50 points
Create a player with the name JOHN MADDEN, save the player, and the achievement will unlock. You do not need to edit anything else suck as ability or team.
