Lack of injuries in franchise mode

I have played numerous franchise games in 09, and I have seen almost no significant injuries. Over 1/2 the games have no injuries whatsoever, and if there are any, they are of the "will return soon" variety. The only major injury I ever had was after a simmed game (9 game tricep tear). There seems to be no need for me to have any depth on my team as no-one ever gets injured.

I have two questions. First, does this happen to everyone (complete lack of injuries) or am I just lucky. And second, other then the injuries on/off toggle, are there any sliders or any other way to adjust the number of injuries?

I fully agree with you there. Always took out the sim of franchise mode cause you never need back up players. And your right, its always return in a quarter injuries.

I remember back in the NHL 95 days that you could end peoples career. Injuries such as broken back, neck, paralyzed, concussions and so one.

You are so right! I am glad to know I am not the only one who feels that way. I think they should make it more realistic. I mean, the computer will get bad injuries, but that never happens to you.

Hopefully 2010 will be alot better, this game lacked alot of potential. Too sluggish for me, and yes, the injuries weren't realistic at all.

Old Maddens had realistic injuries... It's a shame.
