Did they ever explain Andersons back story in the game, i know they do in the book but i can't believe they are leaving it too the "lore" books to tell his story. Seriously, don't spoil anything from the books or i will repay you in the future.

I'm going to replay the first one when i get back and carefully think my choices.I can see myself replaying this one too with multiple endings.

They do go into Anderson's back story with Saren somewhat in Mass Effect 1. You can tell there is tension between Anderson and Saren throughout the game. Plus after becoming a spectre and captain of the Normandy, if you go talk to Anderson, he will tell you a bit about what happened with Saren.

I am not finished the Revelation book though.

I've got a 100 pages left. Should be done tomorrow. I didn't really pay much attention to the past when i played it through. I'm really looking foward to the sequal!

I'm not much of a book reader, but what Andrew says is true, before you board the ship as a new commander, you can ask Anderson what he is upset about. Knowing that Saren hates humans and Anderson was his co-operative, should be the main point for you to get.

Yeah, the book Revelation tells you when Anderson's past and how he and Saren hated each other. Whats good is that the guy who writes the Game and Books. So there is no bullshit. I never read, but i find it really easy to understand because it links to the game

I can see where this game comes exciting to read. I mean, I like the ammount of dedication and innovation that Bioware brought to the game. It's like a whole new world apart from Star Wars. Which is why I spent good amount of time reading the codex, it's a very great tool to use in the game, if you want to know how things generally work.

Mass Effect has one of the better universes when it comes to games.
