preordered Mass Effect today.
Went to my local game stop to make sure I get a copy of Mass Effect. I pay for it and the guy tells me that was close. I'm like what was close we only had 2 left, no just one. So I say how many are you getting? He say 198 holy shit that many people have pre ordered it. I just thought that was nuts. For comparasion they are only getting 99 AC and 52 are still there.

i think it's really just the obsessive rpg gamers who are creating all the hype surrounding this game, but for good reason.
i fit that demographic and im about to go pre-order this baby sometime soon.

Good Job dude, I just took away my Assassin's Creed Preorder and I am getting Mass Effect now. Even the guys at Gamestop said Assassin's Creed sucks. One of them said he already beat 6 out of the 9 guys.

The Sci-Fi channel's website was doing a free giveaway to the first 2,000 people to sign up for it. LzzardBoy posted it in the hot deals thread and shortly after that the contest was closed.
I don't know for sure if I got one since I haven't received notification, but I got to fill out the form before it was shut down. We will see!

I pre-ordered mine the same day I pre-ordered Halo 3. I've been waiting for over a year XD (I didn't preorder it a year ago, just wanted it)
