I'm fucking DONE with Gamespot.
Halo 3 9.5? What? That shit deserved a 9.0 at the most.
Bioshock 9.0? What? THAT shit deserved a 9.5 at the least!
Assassin's Creed? THey didn't even mention the repetition.
COD4? It's great, but it's short as fuck and the multiplayer is shallow.
And now Mass Effect, a game getting generally great reviews having its metacritic score blemished by an 8 point fucking 5...
GS's been spiraling downward to the pits of hell for months now, and I've finally had it.
EDIT: I can't fucking believe I Called it Gamestop.

I think gamespot are the best reviewers too, but I disagree what he said on COD 4, I think it would deserves as much as 9.4 if not more.

i know it might be a bit older than these other games but they gave the latest version of WoW a 9.7 or 9.8 or maybe higher, i cant remember.
and cant get on site to have a look (blocked at work).
so, because of that spot on review, and a hell of a lot of others, i think they have been spot on so far, i havent looked for a month of so tho

Gamespots review is actually pretty good. The game is not perfect so it shouldnt be getting a score close to a 10.
- Graphical struggles
- Poor vehichle controls
- Squad mates often useless
These are things that prevent those near perfect scores. Sure the funfactor might be a 9.5 but the rest might not be. Anything 8 and higher are usually damn good games on Gamespots reviews. Hell even games that rate 7.5. Now their Bioshock score should have been higher though lol.
