Just started today. I hope it gets better lol

I have played for only an hour or so. Right now I wish the game was a FPS instead of this 3rd person view. Also when shooting weapons it feels like I am not even hitting my targets yet they are losing health. Just doesnt feel like I can get a good shot off. I like the upgrades but its a pain to constantly have to hit start and go through my squad changing upgrades and adding skill points.

Basically I really hope the game gets better because right now its just alright. I guess I have been spoiled by COD4, Bioshock, and Orange Box which are great right from the very start.

trust me it gets good, i found the beginning a bit boring to but a few hours into the game and you'll be having the time of your life. I'm at about 10 hours and its probably the most fun i had since bioshock.

its a very different game from bioshock or half-life, when playing an rpg you need more patience i think you will be satisfied by the end of the game. Also, can't you set it to auto level-up?

Im on the same boat. Granted Im only two hours into it. I love KOTOR, but this is so much dryer. The story feels at a crawl, it just feels like a lot less freedom and more of a hold you by the hands type game.. Oh well. I'll play some more tomorrow.

Just give it some more time, you also have to remember since it's a RPG that your guy sucks balls and you must level to get good keep that in mind when you try and use a sniper rifle

yeah, the first time i tried to use the sniper rifle was a joke, but its gotten better

I'm at the point where I zoom and I am instantly steady, then I add master assissan and my explosive rounds through my X rifle and I do around 550 Damage with a 4 foor radius , and yes I can take out heavy turrets with my rifle

it must be a long time since you played kotor then mate, a hell of a lot more freedom i think but at this stage id say the storyline behind the characters isn't as deep as it was for kotor. If you have played kotor and hated it then i would suggest you trade this back in because this is just like it, only better. a problem that i found with mass effect is that if you aren't really getting into a mission or assignment your on then it will just be a grind, a suggestion is that if you don't want to do an assignment don't do it, plain and simple and at the moment i think boring assignments are the worst things about mass effect.

I don't doubt this game will get better as you go however so i wouldn't worry about that.

I will put in more time tomorrow. And ya I set it to auto so I dont have to keep changing my skill points. At the moment the most fun was trying to get my character to look like me lol

Just play the game I only played around 2 hours of yet and I thought it was awesome.
