Should I Get This?

Ok well I was considering getting this game, but I have 1 question. I have heard this game is a RPG/FPS and my question is how much of a RPG is this game? I have never liked RPG's and always found them to be boring to me...and if this is the same as all the others maybe I should save my money.

save your money, its too long, decent story line but itll take you 5 years to get through it.. and most of it is just watching shit happen that you dont control or choosing what your response will be to questions.. im selling my copy so save your money for something better.

Well, it is a RPG/Third Person Shooter, not First Person. You can't skip out on this game, even if you are not a fan of RPGs. I have never been a fan of RPGs either. I have never played any of Bioware's games like KOTOR and KOTOR2. But I gave this game a shot, and I am glad I did. In my opinion, it is easily the best story available for the 360. With all the character classes, choices to be made and places to go...you are going to want to play through it at least 2 or 3 times. Trust me...This game is worth every penny. Buy it, for your own good.

it takes sooooo long to pass though, ive spend a good 10-20hours on it and have gotten no where... i want a game i can pass in around 15hours or so.. a bit like halo3 in length.

So it's like Oblivion, only in the future with guns ?

Wow, are you serious? That is the point...That is a good thing that it takes a long time to beat the campaign. You actually want a short campaign...?

well i just want a game that wont take me forever to finish, it takes so long that eventually i lose interest... and because there is so much talking, and REALLY bad checkpoints i find myself never gaining any territory.. atleast with bully its fun and tells you how far into the game you are.

Mass Effect is a fantastic game. Despite some of the graphical glitches the game has one amazing story and you can play it twice and it wont be the exact same game as the first time. The choices you make results in what you uncover. This is one of my favorite 360 games out there and its definately one that should make PS3 fans jealous.

maybe i should try finish this game then haha... in the game time menu it says im 4hours in.. but ive been playing it for ages, how much further u rkn there is to go?
