Quick question.

I'm about to embark on another journey of Mass Effect but this time on the hardcore setting. For those that have done this, how hard is it? and would you recommend creating a new character or carrying on with the physical stats from your previous game.

It's about as hard as you would expect it to be. It's a decent step up from normal, but not insane. I would recomend creating a new character so you can experience the whole game for what i was meant to be. And i would also not create a new charcter the same class as the one you already played. It's fun to experiece all the classes in the game and how each one plays differently.

It depends on which class you pick. If you pick soldier its not much harder. If you start from scratch its not like every enemy is super powerful. They are scaled up according to your character level.

I'm about done with hardcore, about to step up to Insanity. For whatever it's worth, some enemies are a decent challenge now, depending of course on your current class and weapons. Just be prepared as most every enemy soldier class out there will activate Immunity on themselves the second a firefight starts.

You have to beat Hardcore to unlock Insane difficulty, so I'll get back to you.

If you use the same character as the first game then you will find hardcore easy. I did. But if you use a new character then it should be a little harder. But with playing it through the first time you should be used to it & therefore find it fairly easy tbh.
