I just saw a review of this on Gamespot, and it got panned. Only rated 5.5.

Is it really that bad, as I was gonna get it for the PC?

I took some time yesterday looking at some reviews, they're all pretty poor reviews and ratings. However IGN's video review does a good job of pointing out that it has flaws, and they're irritating, and the game's a bit pointless, but it's full of fun.

I'm sure this is worth the purchase, it's got to be a fair bit of fun blowing the shit out of everything*.

*Has anyone else noticed, and find it annoying, that when buildings are hit by say missiles, the building doesn't react to its pinpoint of contact, it just blows out a shit load of smoke and falls as if it had bombs detinated from underneath it.

That shits annoying.

Just looking for a bit of help, I am stuck on the mission where you have to rescue the Chinese VIP from the building, and there are three other buildings there that you have to destroy with the three free airstrikes given by General Cheng.

Any tips on how to do it, I have been stuck on this one now for quite some time, but I have occupied myself by doing the HVT's and building targets etc.

Get in a helicopter, preferably one of the UP ones because they're fast. Land on top, grab the VIP, get in the chopper and park it somewhere safe (not where you're supposed to take him cuz that'll end the mission) and then you can go back and destroy everything without worry of the VIP dying.

It's quite a decent thing to have at your disposal as it doesn't cost much juice to deliver either

I usually just use it for getting around, as its faster than the others, but if possible i'll grab an ambassador gunship; the most powerful heli in the game with miniguns, rockets, AT missiles and AA missiles.
