Rent it/borrow it from a friend.
Its much too short to warrant a buy. There's replay value there, but its not enough to want to continue to cruise venezuela for hours on end. Worth renting just so you can blow up the oil rigs.

Yer. I hear the game is very short  Is the game not quite fun to mess about on though or isnt there that much to do once the missions are complete?

I've played the demo and it was ok. Definitely not worth buying though, what with the awesome games being released in the next couple of weeks.

Gamestop is offering $20 for Mercenaries 2 towards any new video game, so I will likely sell it off for the $20. Mercenaries 2 was ok, but I would probably never play it again so it would be more useful as money now.
On a side note, Bully Scholarship Edition is worth $20 at Gamestop so I might sell that one also. I enjoyed that game more than Mercenaries 2, but replay value is low IMO.

I played the demo ... and am so glad I didn't buy it. Guess it's an acquired taste.

You should rent it. It has a really short story line. It's a great game for a while, but it gets old quick.

Yeah I am growing tired of it now, especially with the playability of FIFA 09.
I think I will just complete it, and then get the co-op achievements then trade it in against, maybe 007 Quantam of Solace
