GTA is boring. I got bored before I even finished it. I'm still occupied with Mercs 2.

But once you finish the killing in gta what else do you do?????
Answers on a postcard.....
At least with mercs you can buy run around blowing up the biggest buildings you can find. That never gets boring.

Having only just bought the game, I don't know whether to be heartened or disappointed after reading this thread!
Ah, whatever, I loved the original Mercs and liked the first mission of this one so I'm happy so far.

It's a fun game, but the side missions do get boring.

The graphics were not too bad, but GTA had better. As much as I like Merc's 2 I think of it as a filler game, occupying my time between the end of the summer and the beginning of fall. You know that time when no good games come out.

No, the game isn't like GTA at all, other than its being a sandbox
As for others that claiming this game to be repetative, maybe you need to learn how to play the game right, because there are tons of stuff to do in there, tons of techniqes and strategies to use, you just gotta use some imagination and put it to work. Nothing really repetative much...

You have to admit capturing those commanders got a bit repetitive, I still enjoyed the game though.
