MGS3 only sold like 4 million. And that's on the PS2, which sold 100+ Million units. So... If the PS3 has sold 6 million so far... that would mean MGS4 will sell... 240 000+? lol no. All the hype for it would sell alot of PS3s. It would atleast top Resistance or get really close to it. By its release the PS3 would have had 7-8 million units sold. So MGS4 would have around 750 000 on its opening day. Just an estimate... it could be more. Or less... I guess Time Will Tell.

It doesn't matter was MGS3 sold.
This is the last in the series and is a next generation game. Do the math.

I was going to state that case as well but I didn't know how much MGS3 sold for sure.. I truly believe that this game is gonna go multi platform but it will be a timed exclusive out first for the PS3... |

I wouldn't mind playing MGS4.....on the xbox 360....I thought it was cheeky of the bloke to say 'you have to buy a Ps3 to play this game'

I'm pretty sure it will come to the xbox eventually, i mean, it has 8 million members, and i'm sure at least three million will buy the game. Imagine the revenue Konami!
