I remember reading about Mirror's Edge in EGM. The demo is great, I enjoyed. A bit short though...I played it through twice.
If it gets an 85 on GameRankings, I'll put it on my rather short list of games to buy

Looks amazing. Nice and original, good music too. Just wish the demo was a bit longer so you could get into it properly.

imo i think the game is great, tons of fun. there are some frustrating things but it doesnt outweight the pros. and it is short but there is plenty of time trials and speed runs to keep you busy. personally i think its worth the buy but you should rent it first to see. or borrow it from a buddy for a day and try it out.

can u do the time triles and speed runs not threw xbox live? cuz on the demo u have to be connected to xbox live.

Its a fun game. Different than I expected.
I rented instead of buying and Im glad I did. Its not something I would play over and over, but good

lets leave it at- it's only woth renting. my reason for saying this- no multiplayer
it just takes away the point of buying it. I say, rent it out for a week, get all 1000 achievement points, and return it it is a sweet game and looks great in 1080p but let's face it, this game has a MAYBE one to two times replay value at most. Also a matter of taste, this is just my opinion. I rented it so thats what i reccomend. Kudos, nice thread great game

This guy has it right.
I bought it cus I love this kind of game. I still play sonic advance too.
But for your average gamer I'd recommend a rental and nothing more.
That said though. It isn't an achievement whore's game. no way you'll be able to get them all in a week unless you spend a shit-ton of hours on it.
