No achievements/cards in online games?

I have to go online to redeem my wild cards but I can't win cards in online games? And no achievements either? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Wtf?

I played a game online today with Yankees vs. Mets. I drew a walk with Bobby Abreu and I didn't unlock the Eagle Eye achievement or get the Bobby Abreu card. I jacked a homer with Jason Giambi but I got no Giambi card. I got 12 ground ball outs with Wang but got no Wang card.

No achievements/cards in online is the ghey.

Oh, and despite all that, I still lost. My record is like 1-20.

Actually, counting online games, I've played more than 10 games with advanced controls and I haven't gotten that achievement either. Must be 10 offline games.

Yeah, I think the only online achievements you can get are for winning online games. All other ones don't work. I played a game against my buddy online and was pissed when I didn't unlock stuff, but he said it might have been that it was a custom game. Were you playing a custom game?

Nope. Not that I'm aware of anyway. It was a Quick Match. I've never unlocked anything in any of my online games though.

heres a suggestion try to play a game offline against the computer annd see if you can unlock the achievements....i havent even played online yet and im wondering about some of the achievements because ive done some of them and still didnt get it....i just threw a 4 hit complete game shutout with peavy and got no quality start achevmnt nor a play a nine inning game and give up no bombs achievement!!!...i dont get it....i got the retire an inning 1-2-3 easy in my first inn and have got nothing since....
