Batting Tips Needed!
I just got the game last night & I am new to this series of games.
I am trying to use the swing stick & having no luck.
Any tips for me? Can I load the step early or do I have to time that just right as well as the swing?
My Bo Sox got beat by the Rays 11-0. Not cool.

gotta time it right. pull back on the stick to start the step as your pitcher is moving his leg forward. depending on the pitcher, you need to get their timing down correctly, which could take a few innings. once you've timed your step, push the stick up from the down position to hit. hope this helps.

Here's some advice:
1. Follow domosnacks5's timing plan.
2. If that doesn't work, edit difficulty to make step timing influence 0.
3. Buy inside edge reports. They're sometimes helpful for guessing location.
4. Failing that, keep your batter's eye low in the zone, middle to outside. Stay away from high pitches, stay away from inside pitches. Swing at anything else that looks like it's in the strike zone.

Thanks!
I was playing on pro & was 0-7. I switched to Rookie and adjusted the sliders a little bit, but then it was too easy. I switched back to pro and adjusted the sliders a little bit, but still a little too easy. I think I have played enough to just leave it on regular pro & be competitive. Will give it a shot.
Tried to play online and I was up 7-4 in the 7th and got network connection error?
Does that mean the guy quit? Is that a big problem online? Kind of frustrating after playing for 20 minutes.

I play on the old school settings and find the game much more enjoyable that way. If I wanted to use something like the swing stick, I'd just play 2K8 on the Wii
