Star Wars
I never knew what all the fuss was about. Over the past three days I watched all the episodes in episodic order. That was a really great set of films. I feel extra geeky for saying this but the films make me want to buy a storm trooper helmet, just to have as decoration in my room.

Buy a hannibal mask and hang it on your coat hook if you have one. Much creepier.
Also, you don't have to feel geeky for wanting to be a storm trooper. It's in all of us.

The Star Wars tale is the greatest story ever told. Hands down. End of discussion.

Yoda is a bit of a wanker. I'd love to kick his head in but he'd probably do some force voodoo tricks and throw a car on me.
Aside from that the originals are far better than the prequels. The only prequel that comes remotely close is ROTS though I don't think ROTJ was as great as the ones before it.

I really liked the prequels just because everything seemed more believable. The dueling scenes were choreographed better and it really looked like Anakin went through a lot. A lot more than Luke. All of them were great. And I have to agree with Mike, I tried thinking of a better story and there really is no other.

Star Wars episode IV, if a remake with today's vision and sound effects in IMAX 3D, might make fans fall out of their seats when Luke sidesteps his jet like an elephant swaying his head through the planet station's passageway avoiding the cannon blasters. The Three Stooges Luke, Leia, and Han make throw-pie-in-the-face insults at each other. Funny insults keep me awake forgetting the fear that their lives are in danger.
