Your listen to the wrong stuff, 50 cent aint no 'hip hop' artist. He's more of a rnb (rap and bullshit).

I usually listen to underground (Basicly means not well known) UK hip-hop. Foreign beggars, Kano, Klashnekoff, terra firma, Dizee Rascal, Wiley, Ghetto, etc.. arguably some of those are 'grime' but grime is a sub-genre of hip hop so who cares.

They'd think that no matter what music they'd listen to, it's either that or the rockstar image, which is just as bad as the hip-hop pimp image. That's only one part of hip-hop too, there's plenty out there that doesn't encourage that type of behavior at all.
