I usually listen to underground (Basicly means not well known) UK hip-hop. Foreign beggars, Kano, Klashnekoff, terra firma, Dizee Rascal, Wiley, Ghetto, etc.. arguably some of those are 'grime' but grime is a sub-genre of hip hop so who cares.

how can you say 50 cent is BS? when your from the UK ur all corny when it comes to rap

Meh, I guess. I mean, I appreciate the musical style. But not what they sing about, half the time, which is how many "hos" they have and how many crimes they commit.
I don't quite understand how that makes them cool or good? Hell, that makes them deserve a burning.

Kids have always been rebellious, it didn't start when rap music became popular. Rappers are just cashing in on it.

As in they should be lynched and burned? Dude, you're a fucking racist. There is no way around it. You stereotype a whole way of living around some shit artists you've heard on MTV or some retarded kids in your neighborhood.
Hip-hop is not what you think it is. It is not a type of music. It is not a certain lyric. It is a full fledged culture and a way of living. Hip-hop is more than something you listen to, it is something you live and breathe. It is much more than clapping on someone and smashing bitches. But, ignorant people like you only see one side of it. It is completely impossible for there to be something more to it.
Too many people take the "young black men listen to it and we all know most of them are criminals so, it is criminal music." Imagine if people took the "Country music is listened to by poor white racists in trailer parks so, it must be racist music." Or, "Heavy metal is listened to by kids who hate normal people and go and shoot up a school so, it must be kill people music." Kinda fucking pathetic, right?
Even the ones who rap (and there is a MAJOR difference between hip-hop and rap) about life in the hood, they are just speaking about what they know. People aren't helping them come up. So, they take a culture that America has fully latched onto and sap life out of it in order to create something for themselves. Sure, the music may not be what I care for but, I can do nothing but respect them.
Of course, you'd probably prefer it if I put a hood, formed a lynchmob with you and took to the projects looking for coons to hang. You sad little boy.

I can tolerate him at times, the politics discussion was ok. But, to judge a whole culture based on a few examples is just too ignorant for my tastes.

.........
I never ever said Black people must listen to hip hop and that people who do are criminals
Also bunnytard, way to go e-tough guy.
Anyway, what I was saying is only for these "artists" that rap about nothing but drugs, prostitution, crime, gangs
I was asking WHY IS THAT cool?
Edit: why can't they use the same style of music and instead rap about something else?
They are the ones spreading this BS to the youth

Actually, you have just proved yourself to be narrowminded. In your disagreement with me, it makes you hate me. And this means you're narrow minded because you hate others for disagreeing.
Nice job, sherlock.

Because that is what they know. And, mainstream America (Old white people) have found how marketable it is. It's bad enough that in 6 months time a Black man will be president. If they actually showed black youth rapping about making a difference, it'd be terrible. So, they'd rather songs analogizing a **** with a lollipop. Or, a snap dance. Or, what it's like in the trap be the voice of black america. Why do they do this? Because they know that so many people, yourself included, will pigeonhole black people this way. It is way too hard to have commercial success and rap about positivity. It's not the early 90's anymore.

I'd rather they rap about being good citizens than being good gang criminal members.
