I know in this day and age it's too easy to just Jack Sparrow an album to enjoy. I have no problem with that. It's already leaked and I've ripped it but, I've also bought it from Amazon. There's not many cases where I would say that an album truly is worth buying but, this is one. On top of all the good you could possibly be doing, you're gonna get a ridiculous fucking album. I mean, if you've ever heard Dilla's work then you know, if not then I suggest you get Donuts by any means necessary. Shit is absolutely bonkers. The respect that has been shown to Dilla since his death is amazing, if a bit late. But, you have to think that he may be somewhere beaming knowing that Pete Rock and his Mother brought us this amazing album. I'm sure he'd also be happy to know that some of the artists he respected most make guest appearances on the album such as Black Thought, Raekwon, MF Doom, and his brother Illa J. Seriously guys, if you love hip-hop, or even just good music, and plan on buying only one album this year make Jay Stay Paid the one. If you aren't too into hip-hop or good music but want to try something out, then buy Jay Stay Paid. If you say nah I'm not into buying music, at least Jack Sparrow it and appreciate it for what it is. There's so much shit released that something as masterful as this should not go unheard.

Just stumbled across Elzhi and Blu & Exile!! Dope!!! Elzhi is a straight lyrical beast and Blu's got that nice chill flow.

Mos Def's The Ecstatic leaked. I haven't made it all the way through, but so far it's pretty good. AZ's CD also came out, but it was pretty boring.
