Road Runner Records released an "all star" album about a year ago, maybe more. Anyway, a bunch of artists got together and made up new "bands" to record songs. Fucking great! Glen Benton of Deicide does a song called Annihilation By the Hands of God... One of my favourite metal songs ever!

Fear Factory is another great band. Check out Digimortal or Demanufacture.

Also, pretty much anything by Opeth, especially Ghost Reveries.

Jeez so many recommendations...so little time and hard drive space! I just found out that InFlames had a really good album in '06 so I'm gonna pick that up.

Chevelle is one of my favorite bands....don't know how I forgot to list them. I always have a copy of Wonder What's Next in my car.

I'm gonna have to go on a downloading spree to figure out what albums I actually want to buy!

What's the best Rotting Christ album in your guy's opinion? From what I'm reading...Dead Poem is one of the best.

I'm also considering Blind Guardian - A Night at the Opera...any thoughts?

Currently I'm listening to some Coal Chamber...Row Boat is an amazing song!

Thats Roadrunner United, Matt Heafy (trivium) Robert Flynn (Machine Head) Joey (slipknot) and Dina Cazares (Dream Theater) were some kind of team captains and made with diiferent artists like Christian from Ill Nino (No mas Control), Corey from slipknot and Stone Sour (The Rich Man) and many others an amazingly good album.

Btw, Caduto, I totally forgot to mention Ill nino

I used to get Roadrunner Magazine from Roadrunner Records. I got a few of their Sweating Bullets CDs. Damn they were good. I ended up letting my subscription run out years ago. Dunno if they still even make the mag.
