Actually I thought Live 04 was not that bad. But it was all downhill after that. 2k is the basketball simulator to get now.

I used to play Live all the time, and the game was a joke. I know that is a contridictory statement, but it was actually fun with all of its faults. If you can get over guys making 10 threes game to game and role players coming off the bench to go 20-10 just because then the game can be a lot of fun. I've never played 2k but i hear it is pretty good.

Yes it is. You should try it. I was at first hesitant to switch over because while Nba Live was getting worse and worse, I had still liked it because I haven't played any better ones. So when I got Nba 2k6 for the first time, I was blown away. Nba Live 09 has some fecking awesome looking graphics. My mouth dropped when I saw it, but the animations are pretty bad and the gameplay doesn't look that smooth. I prefer Nba 2k a lot more.
