8.8 sounds like bullshit to me.
Obviously I'll have to play it first but..less than a 9? :\ Doesn't seem right from all the other sources that have played it.
Also, it's by Jeff Gerstmann, who is a proper idiot.

Don't worry, gamespot is just one site. Many other sites have reviewed it over 9.

Yeah, I know, but Gamespot is usually THE site for me. So it's kinda odd they'd rate it as such.
I can see where he's coming from, but even what he says is wrong with the game doesn't seem like it warrants anything less than a 9.0 at least.
I mean, he clearly stated it's better than WW, so why rate it less?
His comments about how the controller works worries me a bit though I must admit. I'm expecting a huge new experience with the controls. If I don't get it, I'll be mad.

I agree with Welsh, he made some valid points and what he said about the wii mote is kind of making me think twice about my decision on getting one, cheap speaker and all that. I still think 8.8 is a bit low considering the 9.8 and 9.9's it's been scoring on other sites.
