Not really a Wii fan. I have played them at other peoples houses and people have brought them round to mine and I can safely say wii sports does not do a lot for me at all. The sports games lack options depth and the graphics are pretty naff but just give people a controller they can swing and its all the big rage. The Wii has done what Nintendo does well, sell gimmicks. It also gives me the same feeling that I always get from Nintendo and that is its immensly kiddified.

To me the Wii is good for a party when there are people about like granny and grandad who cant use a controller. Thats not a good rreason for me to buy one though dont have those kind of partys very often.

I dont like the wii at all,
i dont even find it fun when theres a bunch of my mates at a drunken party and there is one to play.

The games put me off, and so do the graphics.
Ive never liked games like mario or rayman or any of that sort of stuff.
I wont start to like it until serious games are out for it e.g a COD game or something, everything else seems to kiddyfied to me.

Big deal if the graphics aren't great...sure it looks bad compared to my 360 on an HDTV, but graphics aren't the Wii's selling point. The problem is that most people only play Wii Sports and think that it's not for them. Brawl is incredible, it's a great party game and even fun to play alone (working at Challenges is similar to unlocking Achievements in 360 games). I also enjoyed Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, one of the greatest adventure games ever in my opinion. The controller is a bit weird at first, but if you stop thinking of it as a selling point, it can be just as easy to use as a normal controller (the controls for Zelda were great after you get used to hand movements as well as buttons). The reason I like the Wii is it's games. It has all of the Nintendo titles that we've been playing for ages (sure, you think the Wii needs Call of Duty, but 10 years ago, you didn't have Call of Duty, let alone any FPS at all (except maybe Doom or Quake on your PC). These classics are what keeps me with Nintendo. The only thing I don't like about the Wii is the poor tacked-on feeling online game support and the lame friend code nonsense. I don't care if kids play it, let them experience the true Internet or don't play online at all.

Technically, the Wii could support all modern controllers, as (with homebrew drivers, obviously) the USB ports could support 360 and PS3 wired controllers, it supports GC controllers, it supports Wiimotes, and Bluetooth would allow it to use other wireless controllers that use Bluetooth. I hope we see some Wii Linux soon.
