The only game you mentioned that isn't exclusive to one system is GTA. Gears -> xbox, MGS -> PS, Final Fantasy -> PS.
Spyro: The Eternal Night is supposed to be a very awesome game for the Wii. Comes out in August or September. Twilight Princess is a great game. Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime, all these I consider 'hardcore' games because they are taken so seriously.

Thats a nice set of third party games, and i'm sure there are more that haven't been announced yet and many of those on the list will continue to have sequels; Madden, Tiger Woods, Spyro, Resident Evil, etc.

Well you see, I know that what I listed are exclusive to one system because also fortifies my point that Nintendo doesn't have the good third party support like gears of war or MGS4. For the games you listed, the sports games are all on ps3 and 360. Resident evil came out 2 years ago. Table tennis came out on 360. Medal of honor, well if it's not any better than call of duty 3 on wii, then it's worhtless. DDR, isn't ps3 and 360 getting DDR as well? You see you didn't really back up your point well listing those third party games. You see, the sports games every console is getting, resident evil already came out years ago, as did table tennis, geometry wars (which is 8 bucks on 360 and has better graphics). So you see, where's the BIG titles that's not sports? I'm talking MGS4, Final Fantasy 13 calibur third party games for nintendo? You see, they still don't have them. They might be getting ports of ps2 games, psp games, older games, but it doesn't really show off the wii third party power does it?

there's plenty of nintendo exclusives in there man. also..
resident evil umbrella chronicles is a brand new game that did not come out 2 years ago...
this version of table tennis will undoubtedly pwn the 2 yr old 360 version in terms of fun factor.
medal of honor is not a launch game like cod3, so it will likely have sorted out the controls better, and it will be the first online fps on the wii, which right there makes it better.
square has already stated that they are holding off on playstation final fantasy releases until the wii and the ds get their fair share, because those systems are selling much much better.
i also only listed games being released in the next few months. i can expand that if you like to include wii exclusives.
it's just simple business logic. if a system is selling, then developers want games on that system. the reason they're not here yet, besides the fact that the wii hasn't even been out a year, is that before the wii and ps3 launched, developers had their money on the 360/ps3. now that they've seen the numbers, they're rushing to get wii games on the shelves.
if you were a game developer wouldn't you want your games on the system that was selling the most?

True, I am seeing a bit more third party support and they are trying a bit harder now for the wii games. But that still doesn't stop the flow of ports that's flooding the wii right now and in the future. Table tennis, port (though it could be a better port), ps1 final fantasy? Port. Geometry Wars? Port. There's still a lot of games being ported over, like y'all said, if a system is selling well, developers are gonna focus a bit more on it and these ports are ways to get a quick buck. I'm sure nintendo's gonna get good third party games in the future... if it's still doing hot.

Here's my only problem with the Wii, if you can call it that. It's that you are forced to use the motion stick, even if you don't want to. An example would be Zelda. Sometimes it's fun to swing the sword around, but other times I just want to sit down and play without moving all over the room. I will get one eventually for sure, but I can never see it superceding any of the other consoles.

Wii is great and has plenty of third party support. It is very unique and will continue to do very well. There's no reason to believe otherwise!

I would love to get a Wii, Only thing that bothers me is the graphics...Kinda behind the times with that part.
Also, s it possible to use an external hard drive with the Wii instead of SD memory cards?
