My thoughts on the Wii and its future - Page 3

There will be many games in the future that will have multiple controller settings. Example: SSBB can use Wiimote, Mote+Chuck, Classic controller, or Gamecube controller. I believe the next Call of Duty will be like this as well.

I don't think Nintendo ever intended to be a competitor this time around...they wanted to make something new (like they always do) and something that no one else had. I think they did a great job. And the graphics are fine with me, and I am a 360 owner as well. But graphics will never undermine gameplay and Nintendo knows this.

Doubt it, Nintendo was pretty dumb to put only 512MB of memory for saved games, seriously that's REALLY small. And what really sucks is even if you copied the games to an SD card and copied them to the PC well if you are in the mood of playing a game you have gone fat in it you have to go to the PC, copy the save to the sd card, grab the card go to the Wii and copy it again to the wiis memory THEN can you start playing. It's really stupid

The wii isn't very good the only reason it's winning the "console war" is cause it's cheap and Nintendo are the masters of hype.

How big of a memory stick are you actually using? A 2GB SD card is only like $20 . . . not a big deal if you ask me.

Yeah, but you still have to buy it don't you for the extra space? Also, it doesn't play dvd's or anything.

Just as one would pay extra for more space on either a 360 or PS3, I find it trivial.

I have a wii...

to me it was like a bit of a gimmick...... i mean there are some good games coming out but there not till later...... the best so far are zelda and mario party... 2 GAMES!!!!!!

Well let's see, a 129$ ps2 has a built in dvd player so why can't the wii? It takes like 50 bucks to make a wii so it would've been nice to have a dvd player in there.

Yes but, maybe you're missing the point that the DVD-Rom in the PS2 horribly sucks. The playback quality on it is reason alone not to bother with it in this day and age. Thus why I said "stand alone" player.

Also, I would like to see where you sourced that "fifty bucks to make a Wii" from.
