I don't understand why people didn't like the first two games, I'm hoping more people will get MP3 and give retro the reputation they deserve for making some great games.
What do you think retro will do after Metriod? Maybe another shooter?

the first two games were great. great artwork, graphics, story, fun factor and all that, but..
i thought both games suffered from control issues. forcing a lock-on style aiming detracted from the first person experience.
but that has all been fixed now and this game is supposed to (finally) showcase that the wii can and has improved first person shooters beyond what dual analog can do.
hopefully developers will take note and make this a standard, especially with the new medal of honor game that's online.

I agree, the controls did let the first two games down, and I hope people take notice of how good the new controls are going to be, now the whole novelty of the Wiimote has died down. Lets not forget this game should have come out on launch, so it might not get as much publicity as Wii Sports did. But here's hoping other developers take note and make a proper FPS for Wii and not a lazy port.

picked this up last night, and played through the intro
solid solid game. this one will be huge. can't wait to get more immersed in it. the control is just so smooth, really sucks you in.
hopefully we'll get a sequel during the lifetime of the wii with multiplayer options

i cant believe this game does not have multiplayer if any game needs multiplayer then it's this game. I enjoyed the first two games but ninty has in my opinion dropped the ball on this one

^ Agreed!!
I went over to a friend's house to play, fully expecting some form of multiplayer. Instead, I watched him for most of the time, and we swapped every once and a while. LAME!!!
Playing with the Wii controls was awesome though, but I honestly think that was the main highlight of the game. Everything else was pretty standard IMO.
