Really? Because me and many reviewers agree that Metroid Prime 3 has the best controls out of any console shooter ever.

I love my Wii... There is not much better than stumbling home from the bar with a couple buddies and playing Raving Rabbids together Plus, Super Paper Mario, Metroid 3, Super Smash Bros., Etc.... It's a solid system for what it does.

I love my Wii for different reasons. The wife loves it, thereby allowing me to disappear upstairs on my 360 for hours on end. Also just bought cosmic family on the Wii for the little one and he loves it. Would much rather him destroy the Wii downstairs than wanting to play on the 360. Ill leave that till hes sixteen.

definately agree
i think most of the people who bought and returned a wii already, had no idea that the wii was gonna be such a great console for shooters.
the controls on metroid really suck you into the game. i havent felt as engaged in a game as i have with metroid in a really long time.
from what i've read, the new medal of honor game (which has online multiplayer) is supposed to have nailed the controls as well as metroid did.
lets just hope this becomes the standard, b/c as it is now, the wiimote is pwning dual analog, and gaining on more mouse/keys style gaming.

At the moment I don't have a 360... so I can't really compare between the 2, BUT in my opinion, the wii is really fun there aren't THAT many good shooters out at the moment, but as people have already said, Metroid Prime is one of the few. I think there will be better shooters coming out soon though, like Medal of Honor:Heroes or something like that... the hands-on sounded pretty good.

yeah the shooters are on the way. i just hope we've reached a new standard in wii fps controls
im actually looking forward to some of the on rails shooters coming soon too. specifically resident evil umbrella chronicles
sure they lack the immersive gameplay, but coming in late from the bar, and hittin up some multi-player on rails arcade style action sounds pretty good to me!
