Yeah, posted this in the general thread but, figure it's worth it's own.

This is awesome....

Snake Mission Update Videos
Over 35 hidden taunts? We demo our favorites, and give you the intel you need to show them off.

March 12, 2008 - Super Smash Bros. Brawl may be out already, but that doesn't mean the surprises are over. Here at IGN (and already popping up all over the net) players are discovering that Solid Snake has not only his main box taunt in the game, but also a hidden secret taunt, and it's a big one.

Remember Snake's charming entrance into the Smash world a few E3s ago? The trailer finished, everyone cheered, and then up pops the classic Metal Gear codec. The Colonel sat on one side, and on the other, the infamous Solid Snake. The trailer continued on with the Colonel briefing Snake on what would end up being his strangest mission yet, and the short video wrapped up with the secret agent himself on a recon mission within enemy territory.

Apparently his mission intel is still streaming in on a match-by-match basis, but unless players know how to access it they won't be able to get updates from HQ. So how do you get these secret codec updates? Head to Shadow Moses Island (Snake's stage) and play as Snake against any competitor in the game, and quickly tap down on the d-pad. When performed correctly, Snake will ditch his common box gimmick, and instead radio in to the Colonel and initiate a short skit detailing info on the player he's currently facing off against. Get hit, however, and the video will stop, so it's obvious that this was put in as a hidden wink to the fans, and not an on-the-fly taunt to use in actual competitions. Also, be careful when radioing in, as it'll only work once a match, and only on Snake's home stage.

But don't rush off just yet, eager Smash fans. IGN has the intel you need right here, starting with the top ten fighters in the game. Click below and you can check out their briefings in action, and then check back here each day as we update our list with ten more contenders until we've hit them all.
