Anyone disappointed with brawl?

I'm a bit disappointed. The reason why I didn't like halo 3 was because it plays too much like halo 2 and I played the shit out of halo 2. Same with smash bros. I played the shit out of melee and Brawl plays just the same except for an adventure mode which sucks in my opinion, new characters, and final smashes(they are pretty cool though).

The graphics don't look that much different from melee. I'm pretty sure I'd be more excited if I was 10 years old, but still, it's too much like melee.

im pleased wit it. i dont know why people expect wayyyyyyy to much outa games, brawl did w//e it could do to be great

^ Which is why so many people here diss halo 3 and say COD4 is better in every way shape and form.

I think we won't be hearing much criticism for brawl because the audience age will be lower and more kids will be playing it and will probably still like it regardless, but I was expecting more than just a madden roster update with some half-assed campaign and new items.

I'm happy with brawl, maybe it is because I didn't play the others that much. By yourself it can get a little boring, but with some buddies and some beer it couldn't be better. I think with the super smash bros series you can't do to much to change it. If they went complete 3D they would've destroyed it and well anything else they did. I agree that the adventure mode is bogus but the rest of the game they did a nice job. They updated the roster, gave everybody a fresh layer of paint, threw in a single player adventure, allow users to create their own levels, and made it possible to play online. Which when it works is great, but when it doesn't it falls flat on it's face. Overall like I said, I think they did a great job and I didn't expect any more then what they gave us.

Another thing is a lot of these games are getting old because you use the SAME characters over and over again. I mean Mario is great and all, but he is in damn near every game. Same thing with the Halos and well, just about everything out there. Publishers are so careful nowadays that they are afraid to invest in a new IP because it might flop. In my opinion that is what is hurting this industry more then anything. SEQUELS.

I'm disappointed in the fact it is delayed until MAY in Europe.

That fucking shit is something to be disappointed by.

Well Melee was still fun when you play with a lot of friends so nothing has changed here with brawl. But I remembered I played the shit out of halo and when halo 2 came out, I was very pleased with it. Probably due to improved graphics, dual-wielding, energy swords, and better online and stuff. I just wish something else was added or improved so that it feels a bit different, but still have the traditional gameplay to it.

What the FUCK is wrong with you people?! This is the best Wii game ever youre talking about! When sequels change things people hate on them, but when they keep it the same and just add new things people still hate on them! You have online play, new levels, like 30 something characters, you can even design your own levels! What more do you want?! And its a Wii, how can you say that you want better graphics? Thats not what it was made for! I guess its just impossible to satisfy gamers these days.
