Getting a Wii just for Brawl beats getting a PS3 just for MGS4, in my opinion (because the Wii + Brawl = $300, PS3 itself is a lot more). Not to mention there are a ton of other Wii games worth buying (Twilight Princess definitely, MarioKart Wii when it comes out, Metroid Prime 3 was pretty good too).

i dont think 300 + dollars depending on how many controllers u get is worth it for any one game...

I retract this statement. Brawl has gotten old and I'm bored of it. Gonna sell/trade it in for GTA:IV.

I felt that way about 3 days after I bought the game. It was highly disappointing for me.

^ Probably because I've grown up. I like this stuff about 5 years ago, but I'm 16 now and I don't find this stuff as amusing anymore.

Simply put: NO. I have a Wii and used t o play it fairly regularly but found that the console was lacking something at nearly all times, FRIENDS. If you buy the console to play any game on your own then you will find that it isn't a good investment but a boring one and one that feels stale before you even realise what's wrong.
With friends, the console comes into it's own, but how many people buy a game to wait for a few mates to come over and play it with them?
If Ninty had sorted the on-line multi-play out then the console may have been a great little bargain, but as they haven't then I feel they may have alienated the majority of gamers that take any sort of game a little seriously.

i have honestly played brawl tons at my buddies house, but i am not planning on getting a wii anytime soon. my 360 and halo 3 does me just fine
whenever im in the mood to play brawl, i head over to his house down the road...
so personally i wouldnt buy the wii. but its up to you
brawl is a great game though.
one of very few good games for the wii.
