Rumor - Wii Fit priced at $89.99 US

That is, if The Wii Cast's screenshot and report is to be believed. The site says that Gamestop has listed Wii Fit at US$ 89.99, with a minimum of ten bucks to deposit when you pre-order. The price is pretty believable, considering Reggie Fils-Aime's previous projected price clocked it at the same price range.
Of course, this info is currently unreflected when you search for it on Gamestop. However, when you look back at similar reports in the past, leaked prices like this one usually hold water.

That is one expensive plastic step lol. But I am sure I will be buying it anyways.

Yeah, $90 isn't that bad. But, then $170 for RockBand and suddenly the $250 price point for Wii is like, meh.

A few months before the Wii was going to come out, I was going to sell my Neo Geo for Steel Battalion...Then I decided I might as well put that money towards a Wii. For a while I called the Wii the 'Gamecube Advance' because you're paying for the controller, which is acceptable to me. |
