Pro Evo 2008--Wii
Anyone got this on the Wii? I picked it up yesterday and it's f*cking brilliant!!! The controls are a masterpiece as is the gameplay. It has a bit of a learning curve but, unlike football games on the "major" consoles, you feel really accomplished when you put one in the net. I'm in love with it. If you have it, let me know and we'll switch codes to play online. If you don't have it, get it! Especially if you like football.

yeah just seen a video on youtube showing the controls. think i might pick that up if my dad gets a wii for his birthday this week

Dude, you gotta. It's amazing. Like I said, there's a lot to learn but, once I get it all I think it will be proper amazing!! Right now I'm just playing a league, with Man U of course, probably gonna get a champions road started as well. Online is there, you can swap players with friends you've earned on Champs. Road, play against a friends team when they aren't there, do all sorts of stuff. This game should keep me busy for a very long time. Graphics wise, it's on par with PS2. Not great, but certainly not bad.

Haven't even tried it yet. I've heard it's pretty good though. I mean, as far as the Wii goes. Honestly, Ninty really needs to get their online shit together. Give me voice chat, an option to see friend requests, and get rid of the effing codes instead of names and I'll be set.

it does look cool, but just think id prefer to play normally, have more control.

Honestly, I think you have more control on the Wii. The only downfall so far is defense but, there's a lot I've not gotten into yet with that. I mean, passing from one to the next is point and click. It's amazing to have Ronaldo dribble through the middle pass to the wing to Rooney who then crosses to Tevez for the header. You really feel like you mad that happen. As opposed to a, a, b, a. That gets boring. On this I felt like it was me doing it, not the computer guiding me. I'm telling you, if you have a Wii, get it. Plus, it was only $40.
