Recommended Wii games
I am really starting to regret buying a Wii, but this is my second one already and I don't want to sell it. I own SMG and I love it, but I can only play it for so long.
I wasn't very fond of LoZ:TP, and I wanted to buy Metroid Prime 3 : Corruption, but the reviews mentioned annoying fetch quests. And then theres Mario Kart Wii, which I also wanted, but I wont be playing multiplayer and it seems that its the games main feature. Help me love my wii...

metroid's a solid game. the graphics and artwork are top notch and it really showcases what the wii can do. it's some of the smoothest controls you'll find on any fps on any system.
i'd also recommend medal of honor heroes 2. although you said you're not into the multiplayer side of things, the online on this game is brilliant. no wii codes or any of that, it uses ea nation and it's very easy to use.
zak and wiki is a very well done game. if you can get into point and click games with motion controls thrown in than this one is a must have.
lately i've been playing a lot of bully. i never had a ps2 so i never got into this one, but i am loving it now. it's the superior version to the 360 version. the motion controls work great and it throws in mini games throughout.
although i'm usually in the minority with this one i also really like elebits. this was released early on in the wii's life but i still enjoy it. it's just quirky and uses the wiimote really well.
boom blox is out in a few weeks. this one looks like endless fun with being able to create your own levels. the puzzle/create your own levels games almost always have the long lasting playability factor.
and last but not least mario kart.
overall i'm excited for what the wii has going for it. nintendo has released their 2 big heavy hitters of the year already. (Smash Bros and Mario Kart). Wii Fit is coming soon too. This leaves nothing but intrigue for what will come in the holiday season. you KNOW they got something good up their sleeve...

I'd say Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, Dragonball z Budokai Tenkaichi 2/3, Lego Star Wars, Brawl and probably The Force Unleashed when it finally arrives!

Mario Kart is a great game, I've heard Galaxy is awesome too.

“Our fans always fill that end of the stadium. They are fantastic. Our away fans are the best in the country. They get behind you and make it a great atmosphere. It was an away game, but our fans made so much noise that it felt like a neutral venue.”

Mario Galaxy is excellent. The art, gameplay, and graphics are great. I'm pretty surprised by the graphics. It definitely has the best graphics on the wii by far. The only reason why I don't like it that much is because I've grown out of it. I know that if I had played it when I was 10, it would be the best game I've ever played.
Maybe try Bully or Okami? Okami has a great story with extremely unique art. I just threw Bully out there cuz it's a good game even though it's on several consoles.
And also Mario Kart online is really good I heard. Maybe you can try that?

Shorty, I like you... but that's lame. I'm 26 and still love Mario games. You don't "grow out" of great games
And on topic... Raving Rabbids is fun as hell, but only if you have friends over. It's pretty lame when you're by yourself.

About 90% of the games on wii are utter crap my favs are Mario Galaxy and Zelda. Galaxy is so gorgeous it puts most 360 games to shame

Well I guess some people don't lose the kid inside them. I'm starting to lose a bit of interest in games in general. I'm not as interested in as many games I would've liked before like Burnout or Ratchet and Clank. I haven't really touched my ps3 in 2 weeks but that's probably because I haven't bought a game this year yet and I'm getting bored of things. Don't get me wrong I wish I still adored mario games, but sadly I don't.
