There are HUNDREDS of side quests, try those. There's also the Shivering Isles expansion.... I don't see how you can possibly be bored after only a week, I've played hundreds of hours and want to play more....

You finished this game in ONE week? The main quest and all the faction quests? I don't think that is even possible. I did take my time in my first playthrough and did many side-quests and did some leveling and exploring and ended up at the 220 hour mark when I was finished with that account. I can't imagine finishing the game in one week.

Man, i must be retarded. I've had this game for a couple days now and have not even finished with the prison/tutorial. But i love to explore, and even in this first part, there are lots of dark corners. I didn't think about using the torch at first and missed some armor so had to go back. It isn't as fast paced as a first person shooter, and I think you have to want to explore your world in this game.

Be sure to go to the Oblivion wiki Oblivion:Oblivion - UESPWiki to get your Oblivion info. That place is an excellent online guide. I've spent many hours on that site reading about tactics, hints, and gameplay help. There is also a section for beginners that tells you where to find good armor at a low level and what levels to do first.

Well i played like 14 hours a day for around 7 days only doing the factions and main quest. I have a level 40 assassin with the arrows that does 65 fire damage (an A.O.E arrow) and killing stuff is easy. Made a thief with Speechcraft,Mercantile,Marksman,Sneak,Athletics, and Acrobatics. This character was just to see how much money i could get without duplicating, its somewhat fun. Im just not much of an explorer though.

Then what are you doing playing Oblivion The best thing about the game is the level of exploring you can do! Unequaled, as far as I'm concerned. Ah well, to each his own.
I agree with Shorty though, check out the oblivion wiki, I'm sure you'll find stuff on there to keep your interest up!

Honestly I didn't do too much exploring and the bulk of the time I spent on the game was completing quests, making money, trying to turn my weak Argonian character into a warrior/magician, meeting as many people as possible, or sometimes just take shadowmere out for a ride and see the view. At the time when I was most addicted, 14 hours a day was about what I spent on that game lol. In the end it took me 3 weeks to finish the game on my first playthrough.
