Dark Brotherhood - Listener

I recently started playing Oblivion again and started from where I left off on the Dark Brotherhood quests. I completed them without too much difficulty, but I was wondering if what I've got now is a glitch or not.

I went straight to the night mother and she gave me the name of some guy, so I returned to Arquen and spoke to her. There were some new recruits hanging around but if I remember right, my guy didnt say anything about the person the night mother was on about. Anyway, I went back to the night mother (less than a week later) and it said I should go and talk to Arquen and then wait a week before coming to see her again. But whenever I talk to Arquen now, all she says is 'but I've already given you this weeks earnings... etc'

I haven't waited a week since I first spoke to the night mother but I was just wondering if this was normal for a first time.

mm think thats a glitch, but is no big deal

yeah i think its a glitch. its a pain because some of your quests randomely glitch. bu then again only around 3-4 will glitch out of over 150 so its ok.
