Silver Weapons

I need to do two quest: The Ghost Ship and Duties: Fighters Quild but there are ghost and I need a silver weapon. Anyone know where I can get a silver weapon.

In Mage's Guilds you can usually find a silver dagger so there's guarantee'd silver daggers if you can't find a silver longsword. Or you can buy a silver longsword at a weapon store. The one in the imperial city(the one with the old woman) has a silver longsword for sale I believe.

depends on what level you're on shorty, im now on lvl 1 again and only things I can find in stores is steel

yeah youre right, found some more today on other places aswell, there is a silver warhammer in the secret tortureroom in castle (?) (thieves guild quest)

Hhmm, I did get bored after a while, got back into it about a month ago and then now I'm bored of it and I'm distracted by other games *cough* COd4, gta4*cough and also homework and NBA playoffs. However I used to spend hours on the Oblivion wiki site and nearly completed every quest in the game on my first character and run-through of the game so I still remember a lot about the game. I still like the game and it'll be on of the best games I'll ever play so I'll always be here to help newcomers or returning vets with the game if they ever have trouble.

You don't need a silver weapon, just enchant your weapon with any sigil stone gained from closing an Oblivion Gate. Even when it runs out of charge it will still damage ghosts. Just click the sigil stone in your inventory, it will give you the option to enchant your weapon or armor item.
