I am glad to see people agree with me on this subject. And when i talk about Half Life being underrated, i am talking about for console gamers, not PC

Half Life 2 was on the original Xbox.... You should have known that.

Yes i am aware of that, but the original xbox version was not a good port, it had worse graphics and was 'toned down' alot to run on the xbox. A bad port basically and i'm hoping Valve will port it properly to the 360 this time.

Never been into the Half-Life games, but I'm definitely tempted by the Orange Box.
Looks like a nice package

IMO Half life2 is the best single player game you can get. Excellent gameplay, story, graphics, physics, enemy AI, weapons, level design, etc etc etc. There really isnt much to fault in it. Throw in the two episodes and TF2 and Portal, and its got to be one of the best VFM games you can buy. I'll be getting it for the 360, despite the fact that i already have HL2 and HL2 EP1 on my PC!.
One small gripe about it though, why no Counter strike included?

^^ Good question. I think they see counter strike as a completely different game. The reminds me, will Half Life include Half Life DM?

Half Life 2 is a great game. Somehow I need to get money so I can buy the Orange Box..

Maybe, but they included Counter strike source with HL2 when it originally came out on the PC(first online game i ever played, probably still my fave), so i wonder why they wouldnt put it in the orange box?

October 19th .....my diary has been marked for a long time for this game, With regards to Conter strike i can only guess that after releasing it on the xbox and not really having any success on the console they have decided to try something new * Team fortress had in its day just as big a following online as counter stirke. Now i have been a long time CS player since 1.3 and i Have CS : source so it pains me that its not there but this is going to be a great game and i cant wait.
